DO NOT leave your knives in the kitchen sink. This prevents you from soaking the knife in water and ruining your knife. It also stops you from accidently scratching or dulling it against other plates and silverware.
Keep your knife in the gift box when not in use to prevent chipping or damage against other objects.
Wash with mild soap and a non-scratch cloth or sponge are recommended. User can use dishwasher at lowest temperature and place it in a manner in which it will not move. Remove any stains by lightly scrubbing your knife with a lemon until you see the stain disappear, then immediately rinse the knife off.
Immediately dry your knife with a towel after washing. A dry knife is a happy knife. We recommend using a soft microfiber or terry cloth.
Sharpen the blade as needed. Always sharpen in the same direction starting
from the tip of the knife and pulling back towards the handle. Do not over
sharpen.
Always cut on wooden cutting boards. Wooden cutting boards are the most gentle surface for cutting and are highly recommended. Plastic boards can harbor bacteria. Beware that “bamboo” boards can damage knives over time due to their fibrous makeup. Never cut on your countertop or any hard surface such as marble, glass, or granite.
Do not to twist the knife when cutting hard food like Watermelon. Also, avoid heavy chopping which can damage the blade.
